We were scheduled to hold a group portrait session with the Calbet siblings from L'Espluga de Francolí in early February 2026, but weather issues—specifically, strong wind warnings—forced us to postpone it by two weeks. Getting all four of them together was already a challenge, and the scheduling difficulties remained the same two weeks later.
The setting, however, was clear from the start; since they worked where they lived, time was limited. I had estimated an hour of work, but we were so focused that we finished in just over half an hour—though, admittedly, it was perhaps windier that day than on the day we had originally decided to postpone the shoot.
The session was intended as a retirement gift for their father; they wanted to give him physical prints, so I offered them a great deal on framed photos in various sizes—ranging from 13x18 cm to 50x60 cm. I believe it was the perfect choice and a truly wonderful gift.
